Until We Meet Again! - 02/17/13
Today, Sunday February 17, 2013 is Father David Mahaffey's last day of serving Divine Liturgy to the faithful of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Bethlehem, PA. Father David will embark on his new spiritual journey as he is elevated to become Bishop of Alaska. Following liturgy service, a luncheon was provided in his honor. Gifts on behalf of various committees including the choir, perogi workers, Sunday school, and church council, among others, were given to Father David. Sandi Keysock, Church Council President, presented Father with a St. Nicholas Icon in remembrance of his time served here in the Bethlehem church.
Father will be missed by many. We thank you Father for your spiritual leadership and guidance. May God grant you many, many years.
