Second Sunday in Advent Candle Lighting at St. Nicholas ROC, Bethlehem, PA. - 11/20/16
On Sunday November 20, we continued the Advent Season with a second candle lighting ceremony. Alex and Michael Lustig, sons of Eric and Victoria Lustig, lit the second candle, which is blue for the hope that Christ will come again this year to bring joy into our lives. The adult scriptural reading was done by Sunday school teacher, Karen Gowarty. The congregation and choir ended the ceremony by singing, “Joy to the World”
